CAN-AFCON Guide — WordPress Landing Page Design for a Digital Travel Guide Product

A conversion-focused WordPress landing page built to sell an instantly downloadable AFCON 2025 travel guide to football fans planning trips across Morocco’s six host cities.

Timeline: 2-week project

CAN-AFCON Guide is a digital travel product created by a team of passionate Moroccan football fans to help international visitors navigate the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), hosted across six cities in Morocco: Tangier, Marrakech, Casablanca, Rabat, Fes, and Agadir. The guide covers match schedules, city-by-city travel tips, food recommendations, hotel links, transport guidance, safety information, emergency contacts, and souvenir-buying advice, available in both English and French as an instant-download PDF.

Elite IT Solutions designed and built a single-scroll WordPress landing page that presents the guide’s value proposition clearly, walks visitors through everything included, addresses objections through an FAQ section, and routes every call to action to two secure payment options: Payhip and Stan.store. The page is bilingual (English/French), mobile-optimized and structured to convert first-time visitors into buyers without requiring a follow-up email or call.

Client/Context

CAN-AFCON Guide, a Morocco-based digital travel guide brand targeting football fans and international tourists attending AFCON 2025.

With a time-sensitive product tied to a major international sporting event, the team needed a landing page that could present the guide’s full value quickly, build trust with an unfamiliar audience, and complete the sale without any sales team involvement.

Problem Statement

The team had a high-quality digital product but no professional landing page to sell it. Without a structured page that communicated what was inside the guide and why visitors should trust it, potential buyers were leaving before converting.

Key Pain Points

  • No dedicated landing page to present the guide’s contents in a structured, scannable format that matched the expectations of international buyers
  • Two separate payment platforms (Payhip and Stan.store) needed to be integrated cleanly without confusing visitors mid-conversion
  • Building trust with a global audience unfamiliar with the brand required social proof, clear FAQs, and professional visual presentation

We built a focused WordPress landing page that opens with a hero headline , ‘Your All-in-One Travel Companion for the Africa Cup of Nations’ , and immediately establishes the guide’s scope with a six-icon feature row covering match schedules, hotel links, emergency info, local food, souvenirs, and transport tips.

A ‘What’s Inside’ section breaks down all content categories using visual tabs and bullet points, giving visitors full transparency before purchase. A host city’s block highlights all six Moroccan venues. The FAQ addresses the three most common buyer objections (city coverage, delivery timing, and group vs. solo use). Both payment CTAs are presented consistently throughout the page in prominent button style.

The bilingual toggle (English/French) ensures the page serves both anglophone and francophone fans without requiring separate URLs. The design is clean, mobile-first, and loaded with trust signals aligned with the product’s audience.

CAN-AFCON Guide now has a professional, standalone landing page that handles the full sales journey, awareness, education, objection handling, and purchase without any manual input from the team. The bilingual layout removes a key barrier for French-speaking visitors, and the dual payment options ensure buyers can complete the transaction on their preferred platform. The page is structured to drive impulse purchases from fans planning their AFCON trip.
