Nonprofit Website Design WordPress Showcase — Cleared To Close

A mission-driven WordPress website for a Cleveland nonprofit closing the racial homeownership gap through real estate education, mentorship, and community support.

Timeline: 1-month project

Cleared To Close (CTC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in Northeast Ohio by Marsean Randall, a licensed real estate professional with over a decade of experience, with a mission to close the racial homeownership gap in Cleveland and beyond. With minority homeownership in Cleveland sitting around 41.4% compared to 76% for white residents, CTC equips underrepresented families with the education, mentorship, and community support needed to navigate the homebuying process. Elite IT Solutions designed and built a comprehensive WordPress website that communicates CTC’s mission, programme offering, and 501(c)(3) status clearly to three key audiences: prospective programme participants, potential donors and sponsors, and volunteer mentors. The site houses five programme areas, Home Readiness, Tenant Education, Landlord Depot, Workshops & Webinars, and Mentorship, alongside partner logos, an events booking system, donation functionality, and success stories. The result is a professional nonprofit web presence that drives engagement across all three audience types while advancing CTC’s goal of housing equity across the USA.

Client / Context

Cleared To Close was an established community organization with strong local roots but needed a professional digital presence to scale its reach, attract donors, recruit mentors, and serve a growing number of prospective homebuyers seeking education and support across Northeast Ohio and beyond.

The Problem

Without a structured website, CTC could not effectively serve multiple distinct audiences, program participants, donors, and mentors, simultaneously. The organization needed a site that communicated its mission persuasively, showcased its program portfolio, established nonprofit credibility through 501(c)(3) status and partner logos, and made it easy for each audience type to take their next step.

Three Key Pain Points

  1. Multiple Audience Types
Program participants, donors, and mentors all needed clear, distinct pathways, one site had to serve all three without confusion.
  2. Establishing Nonprofit Credibility
Donors and institutional partners needed visible proof of 501(c)(3) status, organizational leadership, and partner affiliations before committing support.
  3. Communicating a Complex Programme Portfolio
Five distinct program areas, from home readiness to landlord education, needed individual presentation without overwhelming first-time visitors.

Elite IT Solutions built a warm, mission-forward WordPress website led by CTC’s core message of empowerment and equity. The homepage introduces the organization’s founding story and the Cleveland homeownership gap data, grounding the mission in real need. Five program cards break down CTC’s service offering clearly, each with a distinct description and CTA. A partner and sponsor logo section establishes institutional credibility alongside the 501(c)(3) certification block with EIN disclosure. Donation CTAs appear at multiple points on the page without being intrusive, with a dedicated ‘Donate Now’ pathway. An events booking module allows visitors to register for upcoming workshops and webinars directly on site. A success stories section provides the human proof of impact, while a ‘Get Involved’ page serves mentor recruitment. The design balances professionalism with community warmth, reflecting CTC’s positioning as a trusted, approachable resource for families navigating homeownership across the USA.

Cleared To Close now has a professional, multi-audience WordPress website that serves program participants, donors, and volunteer mentors from a single cohesive digital presence. The site’s structure, mission clarity, program depth, donor pathways, and event booking position CTC to grow its community impact and funding base across Northeast Ohio and the wider USA.
