Ace My French, GCSE and IB French Tutor Website Design WordPress Case Study

An exam focused French tutor serving international schools needed a case study site that frames structured preparation as the differentiator, leads with results parents recognise, and routes them to a friendly first conversation.

Timeline: 1-month project

Ace My French is an international French language tutoring brand led by Audrey, focused on structured exam preparation for GCSE, IGCSE, IB, A Level, DELF, and DALF candidates across the UK and major expat education hubs (Dubai, Qatar, Hong Kong). The case study build had to handle a sophisticated parent buyer who is comparing the brand against tutors and academies all promising similar outcomes, where the actual differentiator is method (structured exam strategy aligned to what examiners reward) rather than hours of practice. The site surfaces a free placement test, a structured French Examiner Method programme, individual and group lesson pathways, and an integrated WooCommerce shop for resource packs.

Client

Ace My French is an international French language tutoring brand led by Audrey, providing structured exam preparation for GCSE, IGCSE, IB, A Level, DELF, and DALF candidates across UK and expat international school audiences.

Context

Ace My French was operating in an international French tutoring market where parents are comparing the brand against larger tuition agencies, school recommended tutors, and online platforms, all of whom can claim experience with the same exam boards. The real differentiator is method (exam aligned structure that targets what examiners actually reward, rather than generic conversation practice), but that nuance was being lost behind a homepage that read like every other tutoring site.

Problem Statement

Ace My French needed a case study site that surfaces the structured method as the central differentiator, leads with parent recognisable results (a Grade 9 GCSE, a DALF C1 pass, a child who went from disengaged to looking forward to lessons), routes interested parents to a free placement test or a low pressure chat rather than a hard sell, and integrates a WooCommerce shop for the French Examiner Method resource pack without making the shop feel like the primary intent.

Pain Points

  • International school parents are comparing the brand against large tuition agencies, school recommended tutors, and online platforms, all of whom can claim experience with the same exam boards, so the structured method has to land as a meaningful differentiator rather than another claim of expertise.
  • Parents in Dubai, Qatar, and Hong Kong are buying remotely without ever meeting Audrey in person, so the site has to do all the relationship work that an in person consultation would normally carry, including the calm authoritative voice and the willingness to chat without pressure.
  • The WooCommerce resource pack shop has to coexist with the tutoring conversation without making the brand feel transactional, since parents who arrive looking for a tutor and see a shop first tend to bounce to a pure tutoring competitor.

Elite IT Solutions delivered a case study build that opens with the brand promise (Real Exam Practice. Real Progress. Real Results.) and a Bonjour et Bienvenue welcome that softens the tone. A passionate about block introduces Audrey directly to parents, with a calm authoritative voice. Three named outcome testimonials anchor the social proof (Leah’s Grade 9, Candy’s previously uninterested son, Dalia’s DALF C1 pass). A The Elite French Academic Programme page surfaces the structured method as the central differentiator. A free GCSE placement test (higher tier) gives parents a no commitment entry point. A WooCommerce shop integrates the French Examiner Method resource pack and other tutor produced assets without dominating the navigation. The contact section uses a friendly Let’s have a chat framing rather than book a consultation, matching the calm tone of the brand. An Instagram feed embed surfaces ongoing micro lessons (DM LESSON, DM STORY) to maintain visibility between visits.

Ace My French has a case study site that frames the structured French Examiner Method as the central differentiator, leads with parent recognisable outcomes through named testimonials, offers a no commitment free placement test entry point, and integrates a WooCommerce resource pack shop without diluting the tutoring conversation.
