A Leyland computer repair and retail store with twenty five years on the same high street gains a confident WordPress and WooCommerce website that surfaces repair services and stock to the local Preston community.
PC Academy needed a WordPress website that reflected twenty five years of trusted repair and retail trading on the same Leyland high street while also supporting a modern WooCommerce shopping experience for new and used laptops, desktops, iPads, tablets, and peripherals. The new site presents the eight core service areas covering laptop repairs, new and used laptops, virus removal, Apple Mac repairs, tablet repair, custom built desktops, data transfer, and console repairs, alongside a four step repair process, a high street store landing page tied to the actual physical location, and master technician credibility content for Neil and the team. The design balances local high street warmth with the technical authority that repair customers need to trust their device with the team.
PC Academy is a Leyland based UK computer repair and retail store established in 2000 and located at 145 Towngate, Leyland, Preston, providing repair services for Windows laptops and desktops, Apple Mac and MacBook devices, iPads and Android tablets, and gaming consoles including PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo, alongside new and used hardware sales, custom built office and gaming desktops, virus removal, data transfer, and a call out and installation service.
PC Academy was operating in a UK consumer technology market where local high street repair and retail stores are competing not only with each other but with mail in repair services, manufacturer warranty channels, and large retail chains, all of which makes it essential for an established independent like PC Academy to surface its twenty five years of trading, its master technician depth, and its breadth of repair and retail capability through a website that captures both the warmth of a local high street relationship and the technical authority of a serious repair operation.
Without a WordPress and WooCommerce website that organised the eight service areas, the new and used stock listings, the custom build capability, and the call out and installation service into a single coherent local high street presence, PC Academy could not effectively differentiate from generic mail in repair competitors or convert online searchers into Leyland walk in customers and ecommerce buyers.
Elite IT Solutions built a WordPress and WooCommerce website organised around eight service areas, a four step repair process, a high street store landing page, master technician profile content, and an ecommerce shopping experience for new and used hardware. A clear local phone, address, and trading hours block sits at every key decision point, and the design supports both ecommerce purchases and walk in store visit conversion paths.
PC Academy now has a WordPress and WooCommerce website that surfaces twenty five years of trusted Leyland trading, the breadth of repair and retail capability, and the master technician depth behind the team, while making it easy for customers to either book a repair, place an ecommerce order, or visit the high street store directly.
