Velier Rework, WordPress Landing Page Design for a British Sustainable Rework Fashion Brand

A visual-first WordPress landing page for a British premium rework fashion brand, showcasing one-of-a-kind denim, corsets, coats, and outerwear built from preloved Levi’s and vintage fabric, crafted by an atelier team in Nottingham.

Timeline: 2-week project

Velier Rework is an innovative British premium rework fashion brand dedicated to redefining circular fashion. Founded and designed by Ruthie Vout in London and crafted in a dedicated atelier studio in Nottingham, the brand transforms preloved and damaged vintage Levi’s denim, vintage leather, and ethically sourced shearling into one-of-a-kind wide-leg jeans, baggy fits, corsets, boxy shirts, denim trucker jackets, duster coats, and Mongolian fur coats, all backed by 25+ years of pattern-cutting expertise.

Elite IT Solutions built a visual-first WordPress landing page designed to let the garments carry the site. The page is structured around seven distinct product stories (The Wide Leg Fit, The Baggy Fit, The Corset, The Boxy Shirt, The Boxy Trucker, The Denim Duster Coat, The Mongolian Fur Coat), each with its own visual gallery, narrative about the craft and reuse process, and lookbook download. The brand’s circular-fashion positioning (reworking preloved fabric, repurposing damaged denim, using byproduct shearling that would otherwise be discarded) is woven through every product story rather than isolated on a separate sustainability page, keeping the message integrated with the garment.

Client

Velier Rework, a British premium rework fashion brand founded by Ruthie Vout, producing one-of-a-kind denim, corsets, coats, and outerwear crafted in a Nottingham atelier studio from preloved Levi’s denim, vintage leather, and ethically sourced shearling.

Context

Sustainable luxury fashion brands have a specific web challenge, the garments must carry the site visually, but the circular-fashion story must also be told credibly enough that buyers don’t dismiss the brand as greenwashing. Any over-explanation dilutes the aesthetic, and any under-explanation loses the conscious-luxury buyer.

Problem

Velier Rework needed a WordPress landing page that could present seven distinct product stories (Wide Leg Fit, Baggy Fit, Corset, Boxy Shirt, Boxy Trucker, Denim Duster Coat, Mongolian Fur Coat) with visual-first energy, weave the circular-fashion story through each product narrative rather than isolating it, and integrate downloadable lookbook PDFs so buyers, stockists, and press could take the story with them.

Key Pain Points

  1. Letting the garments carry the page visually while still telling the circular-fashion story credibly across every product story
  2. Presenting seven distinct product categories (denim, corset, shirts, jackets, coats, outerwear) without the page reading as a product catalogue
  3. Supporting lookbook PDF downloads and direct WhatsApp or email contact without cluttering the visual-first aesthetic

We delivered a WordPress landing page that foregrounds visual storytelling. Each of the seven product categories gets a dedicated section with its own hero image, a narrative block covering fabric sourcing, craft process, and style references (70s denim silhouettes, 90s duster coats, classic 5-pocket reinvention), a visual gallery of the finished garment, and an embedded lookbook PDF download.

The circular-fashion story is woven naturally through every product narrative, preloved vintage grade-A Levi’s denim for jeans and jackets, carefully selected damaged denim panels repurposed into wide-leg inserts, byproduct shearling transformed into Mongolian fur coats, UK-sourced sateen linings for structural integrity. Each narrative credits the atelier work in Nottingham and Ruthie Vout’s 25+ years of pattern-cutting expertise, anchoring the premium positioning.

Supporting elements (WhatsApp direct line, Instagram, email inquiry form, phone) sit quietly in the footer and corner placements so they don’t break the visual aesthetic. Lookbook PDFs are downloadable from every product section, making it easy for stockists, press, and buyers to carry the brand elsewhere. The Elementor-based build is fully responsive and structured so Ruthie can add new product stories as the atelier launches new collections.

Velier Rework now has a visual-first WordPress landing page where the garments carry the site, the circular-fashion story is woven through every product narrative rather than isolated, and seven distinct product categories each get their own visual-led section with lookbook PDF downloads. The premium British rework positioning holds across every scroll, and the page is ready to grow as Ruthie releases new collections from the Nottingham atelier.
