A vibrant, season-driven WordPress website for a beloved North Alabama agritourism destination was built to promote a pumpkin farm, seasonal dining, school tours, and corporate events in one unified platform.
Tate Farms is a family-run agritourism destination in Meridianville, Alabama, serving the Huntsville, Madison, and Athens areas. Built around a seasonal pumpkin farm open in September and October, the business has expanded to include corporate event hosting, school tours, a dining experience called Tate’s Table, and the popular Pumpkin Destruction Day event on 1 November. The farm also operates a country kitchen serving BBQ, chicken, and farm bakery goods, making it a full-day family outing rather than a simple pick-your-own attraction.
Elite IT Solutions designed and built a multi-page WordPress website that organizes all of these offerings, seasonal admissions, events, dining reservations, school group inquiries and ticketing under one cohesive digital presence. The site serves as the primary information and booking hub for tens of thousands of visitors each autumn season, handling everything from general admission pricing to season pass purchases and Tate’s Table reservations.

With multiple revenue streams, general admission, season passes, a dining experience, school tours, corporate events, and a special destruction day event, all operating on different schedules and requiring different booking pathways, the farm needed a website that could serve every audience type clearly.
Managing multiple seasonal events, a family dining experience, corporate group bookings, and online ticket sales through an outdated or fragmented web presence was creating confusion for visitors and friction in the booking process at the farm’s busiest times of year.
We built a multi-page WordPress website with a homepage hero that leads with seasonal imagery and a direct schedule CTA. Separate pages for the Pumpkin Farm, Pumpkin Destruction Day, Tate’s Table, School Tours, and Corporate Events ensure that each audience type lands on a page built specifically for their needs, with appropriate pricing, dates, and booking links.
The Tate’s Table page tells the farm’s generational dining story, rooted in the tradition of a noon dinner prepared by Grandmother and Grandaddy Tate and routes visitors to a reservation system for lunch and supper sittings. General admission and season pass pricing is presented clearly with separate rates for both options, and tickets connect directly to a live third-party ticketing system. The site also includes employment and FAQ pages to handle operational queries. The visual style reflects the family farm brand: warm, welcoming, rooted in Alabama agricultural tradition.
Tate Farms now has a complete digital hub that handles the full range of visitor, group, and diner inquiries and bookings across every offering the farm provides. Families can find admission pricing, check seasonal dates, reserve a Tate’s Table sitting, and purchase tickets online, all from one consistent site. Corporate coordinators and school group organizers have dedicated pages explaining what the farm offers for their specific needs, reducing the volume of inbound calls during the busy autumn season.
